This site is for the Georgia Tech Community (past and present) to share their interests, involvement and excitement for vehicle design, technology and engineering . Each Spring we get together at the Ga Tech Auto Show, but we wanted to keep the communication and collaborations going with each other between shows. If you want to be impressed, check out our website for a partial list of Ga Tech Gearheads who have made significant advances in this industry. They sure do make us proud!
To get started here: Why don't you spiff up your profile page, make it your own. Be sure to add a photo or you or your car so we can get to know you, and go ahead and add some widgets to your page.
Add Photos: Upload pics of your Vehicles or other related things like Car Shows.
Start or Contribute to Discussion Threads: Greet new members and find out who shares your interests. Offer Your Talents or Make Requests. If you have a job opening, or an internship, are looking for a job, would like to mentor someone, are looking for a mentor, have a vehicle that needs help or want some help, jump on in. Start a thread on the Discussion Forum.
Write a blog post: Do you have some news? Want to feature a friend for their accomplishments? Have some info to share? Pass on a great article you have read somewhere else? Then write a blog post about it here. Try and add a photo and if it is another article from somewhere else give us a synopsis then link us back to the original source.

What is What? A Status Update is a 140 character quickie update about whats up with you or something important. Blog is for a longer post about a project, or an event, or anything really. You can add photos to make it more interesting. Forum is for a threaded discussion about a particular topic. Just keep the content coming and make this a great site to come to to share and get all sorts of info.

Well, one of my main goals in life was to enter my 85 Mustang from college in the Georgia Tech Auto Show.
I have less than 24 hours.
The main thing it needed was paint. It is at the body shop now, fully painted. But the signature decal for the hood is on a UPS truck somewhere (I hope).
The tires need to be replaced.
The interior and engine bay need to be cleaned. Don't be surprised if this doesn't happen.
I'm gonna try for it. But…
